I made this series of sculptures with the desire to depict the universal life force. I wanted to make something that I thought would be beautiful and at the same time encourage a deeper respect for nature. This body of work was inspired by the writings of Pierre Tielhard de Chardin in his epic book entitled "The Phenomenon of Man". This project was my venture into experiments in the field of glass, light and sculptural representation. It is about Man, our physicality and our inner structure.
As an artist I believe that shining a light on these very abstract concepts and creating and reproducing them in the physical world can lead to a manifestation of the feelings of unification without having to use words.
