Flower Dance

Date: December 2016

Medium: Installation of glass, scent and flowers

Dimensions: 12 ft x 12 ft

Description: Flower Dance” is an interactive installation of scent, color and sculpted glass wherein the forms mimic the movement of nature finding a meeting place in between the senses.

Visitors of the installation are invited to smell artificially scented plants that represent the color on the wall that it is springing from.  This work is based on my travels in the mountains of the Philippines where I learned to become open to using the sense of smell while navigating through the forest.
